Relaxation Techniques
What relaxation techniques do you use? Do you have one particular favorite that really relaxes you? Do you use more than one? Does it depend on what mood you’re in? Here are some relaxation techniques that I like.
- Take bubble baths. These are fun for almost everyone. Yes, big tough guys like bubble baths too! Sitting in the tub and soaking your troubles away is great for relaxation.
- Practice meditation. When you meditate it brings peace and relaxation to your body and mind. You forget about the stress of the day and just calm down.
- Go for a hike. You might not think this is relaxing. If you get lost like we did the other day it’s not, but a normal hike is very nice. Nature offers relaxing smells, tranquil sounds, and scenic views that allow for thoughtful retrospection.
- Learn yoga. This is a great way to relax your body.
