Watching Comedies

Published by sunnflr at 10:10 am under Happiness Edit This

Do you like comedies? I love them. Sometimes I just want to laugh and forget the problems of the day. What better way to do that than by watching a good movie that makes you laugh out loud. Even one that just produces a few chuckles is ok. As long as it’s not serious and I can have fun.

I don’t really like the stupid-funny movies, more the traditional funny ones. The stupid-funny ones are just too weird and goofy for me. Plus they often contain crude stuff that I don’t prefer.

Some of the comedies I like are:

  • Fool’s Gold

  • Made of Honor

  • Mrs. Doubtfire (an oldie but goodie)

  • Overboard (another oldie)

  • As Good as It Gets

Those are just a few. What are some comedies that you enjoyed? There have been many more I liked, but I’m having a hard time thinking of the titles. Having a fibro-fog moment!

Do you have a favorite comedic actor? I don’t really have a favorite. As long as the movie’s good I don’t care who’s in it.

Tell me about some of your favorites!

yes, i do love comedies. i love to laugh, it feels good after watching a funny movie. however, i can not take some movies filled with slapstick humor, I do not find them funny a lot of times. I too like Made of Honor, Mrs. Doubtfire and As Good as it Gets. I haven’t seen the other two. Like you, I could not remember the other movies I like. For an actor, I think I find Robin Williams naturally funny, and come to think of it, I also like him in drama.

I live Robin Williams in almost everything he does too. I like “real” humor, and not the weird stupid stuff like in Dumb and Dumber. I know alot of people do like that though…my husband is one of them.
